Relax – sometimes, the best ideas come when you are relaxed and not trying too hard to come up with one. When you are relaxed, your mind is open and it gets easy to receive ideas.
Go to the library – this works for me many times, and that is why I love going to libraries and bookstores. I don’t have to read anything, as I browse through the books and book titles on the shelves, I get inspired with ideas. Please note, this is not about copying other people’s ideas, it is about getting inspired and opening up your mind to receive ideas.
Recognise what works for you and do more of it. Some people get great ideas in the shower, some discover they get ideas with a walk in the park, so discover what inspires you the most and do it often.
Don’t disregard any idea, write down any and every idea that comes to you, even if you think they are silly, at first look, they might not seem wonderful, but with a second and even a fifth look, they might metamorphose into a great idea.
